Each winter these wonderfully huge denizens of the sea return from the cold waters of Alaska near the Bering Strait to seek the warm waters of the Mexican Pacific. While on dry land you can enjoy the sites and sounds of the city. Of course the beaches are incredibly gorgeous but the city has lots of arts and culture to enjoy or a trip to the Los Arco National Marine Park, the market at El Pitillal a small suburb of Puerto Vallarta or the little secluded village of El Tuito.
