Puerto Penasco is a town in the Mexican state of Sonora. It is a small port and fishing town which is well-known among tourists, but due to its beautiful natural environment, calm atmosphere it derserves a lot more attention than it receives.
Puerto Penasco is populated by about forty four thousand people. There’s a Scuba diving center, a Benito Juarex statue, and a nature center in this town which serve as the centers of civic activity.
Puerto Penasco is located on the shore of Gulf of Mexico, and also has an international airport servicing it. The town can also be reached by the Mexican Federal Highway 8.
