This is a simple yet totally luxurious place for a hotel. The entire Banyan Tree hotel was constructed out of limestone until it was able to complete a total of 132 villas. The design displays a great sense of Mexican authenticity due to the Banyan Tree brand which is purely of the Asian heritage.

Their outdoor setting includes a 382 sq feet swimming pool, hammocks, a terrace sections, and other loungers. It is perfect to hang out in at night since it exposes you to the open skies as you soak in the tubs with the walls reflecting the sepia toned silhouettes of the candles all around the place.

The Saffron, which is their Thai restaurant is one of their best restaurants. They also offer Thai spa which gives special herbal massage and a rainforest compound which resembles a true Mexican jungle.
