Nightlife in Mexico: Be at Leon

Leon is said to be the most populated city in Mexico and is located in Guanajuato. It is place with attractive nightlife spots, and is in fact known as Mexico’s nightlife capital.

Leon is filled with bars, restaurants, discos, faces and nightclubs where the atmosphere is really warm and friendy. The city in itself is a family-friendly place, so those with children should not hesitate bringing their kids along for daytime trips, and then spend a special time together in one of the bars at night.

Among Leon’s most fabulous nightspots include Diva, which is a bar that features DJ mixing rock, pop and jazz music, for a really fashionable and entertaining night. Zixa is also a great place for parties. The club has theme nights and its forte is electronic music. Sometimes though, they do play classics and Latino music.

For those looking to cap the night with a meal, as you enjoy this with drinks and music, the Johnny Gringo functions as a restaurant with a bar. Sometimes live shows and small concerts are also staged here, providing total entertainment for its guests.

Rio Latino is said to be where the coolest people hang-out. The place has many branches all over the city, offering good music, drinks and a lot of really exciting people to meet. If this is your first time in Leon and you want to make friends, hanging at Rio Latino guarantees this.

Studio is Leon’s most fashionable nightclub, and is has that young and trendy vibe. Music in this studio is a mix of techno, pop and even rock.

    Okay, I have traveled in Mexico for years and I certainly like Leon…….but it is nowhere NEAR the most populated city in Mexico……….
