You’ll never be able to get around a country without a good and solid backing of an effective communication system network. You see, communication needs in the modern age have reached new heights and constant connectivity to the different parts of the world is a necessity few can refute. The Mexican government is well aware of this fact, and, even though it is a relatively small country, Mexican telecommunications is one of the largest network in Latin America. Teléfonos de México, also known as Telmex is the country’s major operator, and is responsible for welcoming you to Mexico.

Due to varying orography of the country, landline phones are much less popular than mobile phones, and the fact that there are as many as four times as much mobile phone users as compared to landline users proves this. Mobile telephony has the advantage of cheap infrastructure and deeper penetration in the remote mountainous areas. What this essentially means for you, as a traveler is that most likely, you are going to be connected to the world no matter what place you happen to be in. Whether you are camping in the Chiapas or enjoying the romantic lines of Mariachi in Jalisco, you are not cut off from the world.

Internet connectivity? No problemo. Mexicans rank 8 among the internet users in the world, which literally translates to anytime connectivity through broadband connectivity, wireless fidelity or mobile telephony. Telmex being the country’s dominant network operator, has left no stone unturned in giving out quality service to natives and tourists alike. Satélites Mexicanos, a private company takes care of all the satellite communication for Mexico, with the help of 120 earth stations and a microwave radio relay network that is extensive to say the least. Suffice to say, when you arrive to Mexico, whether it’s telling your loved ones about your co-ordinates or posting that valuable status update on facebook, you are never far away from connection.

A nation is home for its people. More than that, it is a cocoon that nurtures, develops and forms individuals that, after they are good enough to pursue their innate passion, give back to their country by contributing to the best of their ability, for the homeland that made them who they are. Every country has its own decorated list of immortal people whose contribution to their country have been big enough to make them true citizens. Needless to say, Mexico is no exception, and it’s space boy, Mr. Rodolfo Neri Vela has now become one of modern Mexico’s shining stars.

Neri started his life in Zumpango del Río, Guerrero (19 February, 1952), but that was just the beginning. The National Autonomous University of Mexico (UNAM) was his higher pursuit, giving him a bachelor’s degree in Electrical and Mechanical Engineering. Hungry as ever, Neri was not satisfied by these honors alone, so he got himself a doctorate degree in Electromagnetic Radiation (University of Birmingham). Since then, Neri has worked at some of the most prestigious engineering syndicates in the world, some of them being IEEE, USA, Institute of Electrical Engineers, UK and the Institute of Electrical Research, Mexico. the list goes on.

However, what makes Neri the very pride of his country is the fact that he was the first Mexican to spend time in Space. Neri was part of the STS-61-B Atlantis Mission (from Nov. 26 till Dec. 3, 1985), where he was a payload specialist. Technical details and paraphernalia aside, those 165 hours in space earned Neri one of the most covetous distinctions a man could ever have in the service of his country. Mexico finally had a citizen in space. What’s more, Mexico’s flag could now have the entire view of the world. Not many nations are lucky enough to boast of this feat, but with Neri at its side, Mexico has no qualms…

It wouldn’t be beneficial to a country if, despite its rich culture, beauty, history and tradition, there is no happiness and order in the face of it’s people. It’s almost like a big, beautiful tree on a most romantic beach but having leaves that are absolutely lifeless. Mexico, being a prime contender for pulchritude, grandeur (and splendor) would fail in its majesty if the people living and visiting in it do not have access to state of the art healthcare facilities. Fortunately, you as a traveler, will have absolutely no reason to crib in this area. Mexico is a very healthy country.

Since the inception of the Hospicio Cabañas (Jalisco) in 1791, Healthcare in Mexico has only seen an upward trend. This oldest institution has now become a world heritage site. With the advent of the IMSS healthcare program in 1943 Mexico became a role model for other countries to follow, especially in the wake of the dangerous Swine Flu epidemic in 2009. The IMSS system securely covers every employed Mexican in any health crisis. How safe is that? Safer than safe.

Healthcare is generally affordable in Mexico, and you will find a first class hospital in almost every city or town you happen to be in. If you care about statistics, here are some numbers. An average visit to the doctor is $25. A night stay in a hospital is $35, and you can have your teeth cleaned with just $20 (just in case you happen to eat a bit to much..). Senior people have no reason to worry. Healthcare is enhanced for them.

So what do you, as a traveler learn from this? Simple. You visit Mexico, you travel wildly. You lose yourself in the sheer enjoyment of mother nature. You take a dive in any of the many Mexican beaches. You have a jab at the elegant cuisine. And at the end of the day, you can come home with a secure feeling that your health is in safe hands. Gracias, MEXICO.

Traveling to Mexico is actually very cheap compared to travelling to other foreign countries. Prices rangers from $300 to $500, depending from where you are coming or from Ixtapa going to a different place.

There are actually fifty two domestic flights from Ixtapa to Zihuatanejo, Mexico per week. There are also 37 flights on small aircrafts from Ixtapa to Zihuatanejo. There are many flights going in and going out from Ixtapa.

If you are looking for a cheaper flight to Ixtapa, there are just some things that you would like to consider doing in order to find the cheapest airfare going there.

1. Make sure to make your travel date flexible. If your travel dates are flexible enough, you could save a lot money. You could wait for a promo to get discounted rates.

2. Make sure to book early. Last minute booking could cause you more than when you book two to three week early.

3. Avoid busy holiday dates, example, most tourists fly to Ixtapa a day before Thanksgiving. You could fly on Thanksgiving Day and go back a one to two days after Thanksgiving.

These simple tips would help you find a cheapest airfare.

Puerto Vallarta is known for snorkeling leisure. If you are going to visit Puerto Vallarta, Mexico, do not forget to bring with you and your kids’ snorkeling gadgets.

You will definitely love snorkeling in the beaches of Puerto Vallarta. Puerto Vallarta beaches are rich in coral reefs and wonderful underwater garden even in its shore. Hence, you and your family will enjoy a mere snorkeling activity if you do not have time or the means to go scuba diving.

Puerto Vallarta snorkeling offers you and your family or friends so much. You will definitely love the underwater beauty where you would be able to see school of fish, colorful unusual creatures near the shore, wonderful coral reefs, giant lobster, and if you are lucky to be in Puerto Vallarta during the whale season, you might even hear humbpacks underwater even if you are near the shore and just snorkeling. It is definitely an amazing experience!

Relaxation is the number one reason why tourists flock Ixtapa, Mexico. Ixtapa is the capital for spa treatment and relaxation getaway.

Ixtapa Spa offers different body scrub for tourists. Here are thea scrubs that I love most from this spa:

Papaya & Mango Scrub is an emulsion  body scrub to remove dry and old skin. It rejuvinates and lets your new skin come out the surface.

Cacao Coffee wrap is actually a wrap scrub session that stimulates your skin providing an antioxidant effect. Ixtapa Cacao coffee wrap is an ancient medicine recipe of the locals for detoxification, which revitalizes the body and the mond.

Serenity Massage is one of the best massage I had when I was in Ixtapa. The massage lasts for 80 minutes. It revitalizes and removes fatigue. If your muscle shoulders are aching for a long vacation to make them soft again, the serenity massage will remove those lactic acid build up in the muscle fiber, releasing the tension and stress in your shoulders and back muscles.

If you are going to Ixtapa, Mexico, do not go home without trying their Ixtapa Spa!

If you are anticipating a grand vacation in Mexico, you must go to Grand Velas Puerto Vallarta. I have no other description of this hotel but the word “GRAND.”

It is definitely a Grand Hotel with great and grand services. Their staffs are superbly friendly and hospitable, which you will find in most locals. Grand Velas Puerto Vallarta is located in the Bandaras Bay in Nuevo Vallarta and Riviera Nayarit. Hence, you are surrounded by their breathtaking views.

Grand Velas Puerto Vallarta is a luxurious hotel that would definitely soothe your tensed muscles and spirit. We had our vacation here last year, and I am longing for the wonderful and relaxing massage and spa treatment, my wife and I had, again. It was an unforgettable and exceptionally good feeling to have their wonderful spa treatment.

I could still remember how my wife and I overslept in their spa table because it was very relaxing. After going out from their spa, we were like new persons, and we felt reborn as if some of the years from our age were lifted. lols

What I enjoyed also in Grand Velas Puerto Vallarta is their scuba diving package. It was very affordable and I had the chance to see the wonderful garden under water. My wife on the other hand was happy with their grand swimming pool. It was all worth it, to think we had’t spent so much considering the luxurious services and amenities we enjoyed during our stay in this place.
