Most educated people scoff at stereotypes and emphasize the irrationality of confining the characteristics of millions people into a few simple phrases. One of those stereotypes, that the Mexican people are more sociable and friendlier than Americans, has been recently found to be surprisingly accurate in many circumstances by some researchers.Â
A cooperation between University of Texas and University of Washington based scientiests has produced interesting new information on the basis of which some researches were able to reach at some rather unexpected conclusions. One of their findings is that the Mexicans like to socilaize in groups more. In other words, the American people attach greater importance to privacy than at least some in Mexico.  Similarly, Mexicans are more sociable in general in comparison to Americans,  partly  due to a culture that emphasizes family connections and blood relations in a stronger way than the American one does.Â
