IXTAPA BEACHES -  Of course when choosing a Mexican vacation destination you’ll want to choose a place with beautiful beaches.  In Ixtapa, you’ll have exactly that.  On the Ixtapa beaches, you can simply soak up the ocean breeze or take part in some of the more active options such as horseback riding, snorkeling, and windsurfing.

GOLF IN IXTAPA – If you’re an avid golfer and are looking to work on your skills in paradise, you can go golfing in Ixtapa at the 18-hole Robert Trent Jones designed golf course at the Sheraton.

DAY TRIP TO ZIHUATANEJO – Take a short trip to Ixtapa’s quiet neighbor town, Zihuatanejo.  Even though it’s only minutes away from Ixtapa, it’s a totally different experience.  You’ll find quieter beaches if you’re looking for a little quiet time.  Zihuatanejo has a special charm and is worth at least checking out for a day.
