It is always good to research about the airport of the place you will visit before you go. Reading some articles about it will give you an idea on what to expect when you arrive in your destination.

If it is your first time to travel in Cabo San Lucas, here are some things that you may want to know about their Airport:

Airport Location

Cabo San Lucas Airport is actually 7.2 kilometers of Cabo San Lucas, mexico. It is just a small airport that functions as an official international airfield in Baja California Sur.

Airport Taxi

If you are worried about your transportation from the airport going to your hotel, taxis in the airport are available 24/7. However, it would be better if you avail on your hotel’s service package that comes with airport-hotel service bus. Most hotels in Cabo San Lucas offers bus service from the airport going to their hotel.

Language

What is good about traveling in Mexico is most of their locals working in their tourists’ spots such as hotels, airport, etc. know how to speak in English. So, ease your worries if you are worried that no one will understand you, or you will not understand anyone once you reach Cabo San Lucas Airport.

If you are planning a vacation trip overseas, it is always a good idea to check on the best month to visit the place. You would not want to spend your summer vacation trip inside your hotel room because you came in the place during their winter or rainy season.

Cabo San Lucas is one of the places in the world where it has a very good weather all year round. You will get to enjoy the sun anytime of the year. The only advantage of coming in Cabo San Lucas during summer will be the discounted packages in hotels.

During summer, the weather in Cabo San Lucas could range from a seventy-degree lows and ninety-degree highs. Winter temperature is usually at sixty-degree low and seventy-degree high.

Visiting the Malecon Puerto Vallarta is a must-do when on a trip to Puerto Vallarta. Malecon, is Spanish, translates to ‘boardwalk’ and is basically a long stretch of walking area along the coast.

On a average walk down the Malecon Puerto Vallarta you can expect to see lots of life including plenty of locals enjoying the sea breeze, sculpture artists, street performers, toy vendors, delicious mexican snacks and desserts. Depending on the time of day you’ll see different facets to the Malecon’s personality.

During the day, expect lots of cruise ship tourists. It’s still OK but probably not the best time if you want to get charmed by the real mexico.

Early evening, which is in my opinion the BEST time to go, is when you’ll feel that you’re in the real Mexico away from anything that could be called a tourist-trip. Essentially you’ll be mixing in with the locals and you won’t believe the energy. You’ll feel like you’re at a Mexican party with really good vibes.

At night, this strip also becomes the nightlife center of Puerto Vallarta, so if that’s your thing you now know where to find the parties.

Visiting the Malecon Puerto Vallarta is a romantic and authentic addition to any trip to Puerto Vallarta.

Here’s a list of things to do in Cozumel, to get the best out of your Cozumel Vacation:

SCUBA DIVING – This is the most popular activity on the Island. Cozumel is a scuba diver’s paradise as it is considered one of the best locations in the entire western hemisphere. A typical 2-tank dive will run you about $70.

SNORKELING - For those that don’t want to dive or are looking for a cheaper alternative, snorkeling is another extremely popular pastime on the Island. One of the most popular snorkeling spots is a nature reserve called Chankanaab where you can swim with a wide array of colorful fish right off the shore.

SWIM WITH DOLPHINS - Need I say more? This is a once in a lifetime experience to be able to swim side by side with one of the most beautiful and friendly creatures in the sea. Visit Dolphin Discovery for more information.

SUBMARINE TOUR - Join Atlantis Submarines for the underwater ride of a lifetime. Submerse into the depths of the ocean on a real submarine and be amazed at what you’ll see. Colorful corals and fish, and if you’re really lucky a shark or a turtle. Visit Atlantis Tours for more information.

Those are the major activities you should know about other than other activities such as para-sailing, kitesurfing, fishing, eating yummy food at restaurants, shopping for souvenirs, and lounging in the sun.

FUN FACT: In Modern Maya, Cozumel is called Kùutsmil. Share that knowledge and you’ll be sure to impress the locals!

If you are headed to Oasis Cancun in your next vacation, you will definitely have the best time of your life.

Oasis Cancun is well known for its glorious swimming pools, luxurious bars, restaurants, and well pampering services. Here are some of the things that you may want to bring when you go to Oasis Cancun:

Swimwear

Oasis Cancun is well know for their grand swimming pools and splendid bodies of water. So, do not forget to bring your swimwear to loosen up and show off your body.

Suntan lotion

You will definitely enjoy the rich hot sun especially if you are coming from one of the cold countries. Do not forget to bring your suntan lotion and get that beautiful tanned and healthy looking skin.

Sunblock Lotion, Summer Shades, and Big hat

Do not forget to bring your sun block lotion and big hat to cover your face under the hot glaring sun when you reach Oasis Cancun. The sun here is always on its summer glare. You may find it uncomfortable at first, especially if you are not used to being in a hot weather.

Coins

Make sure to bring some spare coins with you for tipping. The locals love being appreciated with the services they render. Tipping is one of the best ways to show them you are happy with their services. You will definitely enjoy the VIP treatment you will get from the people here and you may want to bring some coins with you for tipping in case you want to give someone a tip during your tour.

Summer Clothes

Buy some summer clothes for your trip, especially if your wardrobe is limited to cold weather and winter collections. You will die of heat stroke if you will wear those thick wardrobes that you wear from where you are right now. However, do not worry too much of the heat because your hotel room will definitely have a full air-conditioning system to keep you comfortable inside your hotel room especially at night.

Planning on being on vacation in the city of Veracruz? Well, this is the most amazing day trip you can do if you want to visit a ‘pueblo magico’ about an hour away from the beautiful port city of Veracruz. The place is called Coatepec. Once you arrive to the town, you can grab some delicious cheap food at one of the restaurants surrounding the charming zocalo (city square) and just do some people watching and experience life as it should be.

Then I suggest picking up some bottled water as the hike up to see the waterfall can take a solid hour. To get to the beginning of the path to see La Granada waterfalls, just follow the signs through the town and you’ll get to a place where you can leave your car. You’ll see that it will be pretty much just you and the wilderness.

Now the hike begins. It’s a bit off the beaten track so don’t expect many people, you’ll be lucky if you see a couple of locals enjoying the waterfall. The hike is not too tough but it’s a nice workout. Once you get to the waterfall area, if you want to get real close, prepare to take off your shoes and walk through the river to cross over to the bottom of the falls. I’m telling you, it’s heaven!

If you happen to visit Hacienda del Mar in Los Cabos, do not forget to check out Pitahayas. A Pacific Rim winner, this restaurant will give you the taste of sea. Literally and figuratively because it is located very near to the body of water and chef Volker Romeike makes dishes of seafood specialties like lobster hash or lobster risotto and coconut shrimp with chipotle sauce. For few years, this multi-tiered circular dining room was always full of satisfied visitors indulging in lobster martinis, spicy shrimp napoleon, and ginger crème brûlée as well as more than 500 international wines in the wine cellar.
