Cabo San Lucas, or simply just Cabo, is a favorite among beach lovers. Located in Baja California Sur, this place is bordered by the Sea of Cortez and the Pacific Ocean. There is no wrong time to be in this beach paradise because Cabo is all sunshine most days of the year.

Between November to May, however, is the high season where prices at resorts are higher. Christmas time, February and March are also busy with people, as this is when families and groups of friends visit the island and unwind during the holidays. The hottest months in the island is during the summer or between July and August, while September and October are known as hurrican season.

Vacation packages for Cabo San Lucas are usually offered by most travel agencies. These are all inclusive offers where you can enjoy unlimited food, drink and activities for a fairly reasonable price. Because there are many resorts in this place, offers and prices may vary, and resorts usually try to outdo each other with gimmicks to entice visitors. Cabo San Lucas is great for those who love snorkeling and fishing. It has one of the largest reefs in the world, which is why those who love the deep sea make it a point to visit Cabo at least once in their life.

Cabo Wabo Cantina is the number one nightclub and restobar in Cabo San Lucas Mexico. The site serves sumptous lunch and dinner every day of the week and features different bands who perform nightly. They also offer a variety of drinks to its patrons and because it is one of the most happening places in the area, the bar has already been featured on many travel shows and hip programs on MTV and VH1.

Anytime there is a fiesta in Cabo, people, locals and visitors alike, almost always end up going to Cabo Wabo Cantina to party. It’s like this bar actually represents the way of life in this part of Mexico.

Located at Guerrero St. near Plaza de los Mariach, Cabo Wabo first opened its doors in 1990. It was a just a small nightclube then, but immediately gained recognition because it had been featured in a Van Halen song, and the rock group was actually part of the bar’s opening night.

Visitors to Cabo San Lucas have doubled over the years, and by word of mouth and through constant media exposures, Cabo Wabo have become a must-visit. The place has also gone a massive transformation that now holds a huge bar with plenty of seating.

Even so, Cabo Wabo always remained packed. Celebrities also come to this place regularly whenever they are in Cabo. Saturday nights feature the hippiest crowd but the rest of the week remain just as vibrant and brimming with activities.

Agua is this really spacious restaurant found at the One and Only Palmilla resort hotel. It has both an outdoor and an indoor setting, and offers a dramatic sight of the Sea of Cortes. The outside part has thatched palapa-style roofing, perfect for casual dining with kids and the whole family, where they can also enjoy a dip in the infinity pool. Inside, the atmosphere is more intimate and romantic, perfect for couples on their honeymoon or vacation hide-away, where they will be serenaded by live music provided by local musicians.

Agua has been named quite a few times as one of the best restaurants in the Baja area, for its design and ambience and for its very talented chef. The children have their own menu and food is served during breakfast, lunch or dinner daily.

Agua’s menu is impressive and some of the most recommended dishes to try include the Sautéed Foie Gras served with Blue Corn Polenta, its vegetable toritita, its lamb served with artichokes, goat cheese and sundried tomatoes. These dishes are complimented with a selection of wine, well-stocked from the restaurant’s cellars.

If you want to dine at this restaurant during the day, bathing suits are required a cover up and guests are also asked to have foot wear. At dinner time however, the crowd is more upscale, so dress shorts, jeans, slacks and sundresses are allowable, while bathing suit isn’t.

The restuarant also has banquet rooms, bars, fireplace, a non smoking area as well as wheelchair access. It’s inviting and open to all kinds of people who want to enjoy good food and great service.

The 7 Seas is a wonderful spot for weddings, birthdays and other parties and events as it is located in a gorgeous beach cove overlooking the waters. Its spot, which is romantic and enchanting at the same time, is a few kilometers across one Los Cabos best private golf courses. The place is known as a traditionally “old Baja”. Surf borders from all over the world frequent this restaurant as it is very near Mexico’s best surf brakes.

7 Seas facade is easily recognizable. It is designed with a palapa roofing and an airy, comfortable terrace, where the dining area is. The atmosphere is complemented with relaxing music like latin jazz, coupled with the sound of the water breaking on the beach surface.

Food served at 7 Seas is simply delicious, especially since the establishment has recently revitalized its menu and choices.

The restuarant offers breakfast, lunch and dinner, and offers a good selection of wine and other drinks for those who want to indulge in a moment of social drinking.

Their dishes are flavorful and prepared meticulously by the chef. Take a sampling of their Spinach Salad which is served with green apple, blue cheese and caramelized walnuts. The combination of flavors will tickle your taste pallet as it is sweet, sour and creamy all together.

Their best food are beef and lobster, as they prepare this with the freshest ingredients. They make use of Kobe Beef and serve this with specialty sauces. Lobsters come with butter sauces and portobello mushrooms. But their pasta Ravioli should also be tried. It’s stuffed with shrimp, spinach and ricotta cheese, plus peppered with basil and a mix of pesto and tomato sauce. It tastes really good!

The restuarant serves homemade demi rolls freshly baked by the chef and diners can choose from an assortment of drinks from their vast wine cellar.

The place is right in the heart of Cabo San Lucas, surrounded by the usual necessities, but also very accessible to relaxing getaways. Local shops are very near, you can take a walk outside and you’ll see the sprawling Puerto Paraiso Mall just a few blocks away from the hotel.
