Situated six miles in the northwest of Acapulco’s middle part is a strip of land called Pie de la Cuesta. It is surrounded by the Pacific Ocean along with a lake on its other side.

This serene location is way more peaceful than the busy center of Acapulco. It is more advisable though to swim in the lake part for the sea part is very risky. It has killed a lot of surfers in the past but you can still enjoy having some water activities in its lagoon.

They perform daily shows for the public, which involve diving 45 metres (148 ft) from the cliffs of La Quebrada into the sea below.
