It is actually quite known as the most romantic wedding venue in Acapulco. We guess it’s because the hotel is located in a very romantic spot, with a dramatic view of the Pacific Ocean. It’s perched on a hill just a few miles outside the city.

The Banyan Tree Hotel is built with an Asian-inspired theme, and high on its popular list of offers to guest is its full service spa, which is a delight to indulge in. The hotel is also an art gallery, with numerous indigenous arts and crafts on display.

For weddings, there’s a banquet hall that definitely built for lavish parties and special occasions. And the hotel has its own wedding packages. One of it includes an intimate wedding ceremony at the nearby chapel, as well as a full beauty treatment for the bride. The hotel also provides fresh flower arrangements and corsages, if needed. Another package consist of a wedding in one of its villa, where couples can avail of a monks blessing. The package also includes an American breakfast for the newlyweds.

As for spending the rest of your time here, guests can indulge in its private pool or dine at the Saffron, which also features a lovely view of the ocean. The Saffron serves Thai cuisine, but the hotel also has a bar and a lounge. Guests can also arrange private dinners or parties, which may be held at the hotel’s roomy wine cellar. This is another option for couples who want a memorable but intimate wedding celebration.

The Torre Latinoamericana is considered as one of Mexico’s tallest and famous buildings. And all over the world, it is considered the 45th tallest structure. The site has its own observation deck which locals and tourists love to visit. You can say that this is Mexico’s version of the Empire State Building.

The tower holds the prestige of being included in the World Federation of Great Towers and has survived numerous earthquakes including the hardest to hit the country in 1957.

This building still has operators manning the elevators, which is part of its charm. Standing in the country’s historical zone, the torre is part of an ongoing restoration project that will help preserve it.

The top three floors is where the observatory is, with the 42nd and 43rd floors serving as decks, while the 44th floor is a windy open terrace. Going down floor 37th is where the gift shops and restaurants are, which makes it an ideal place for tourists who would love to dine amidst the city as its backdrop, and then shop for souvenirs later.

The 38th floor has the museum, which catalog’s the construction of the building, as well as other historical structures in the city.

The tower is open from Mondays to Sundays beginning at 9 am and closing at 10 pm. Entrance fees cost affodably and you can actually visit the observation deck as many times as you like, as long as you have already paid the fee.

It aso has shopping hubs and dining establishments that offer varied selections for tourists visiting the city. But even with all these improvements, the beach remains one of its most attractive tourist sites. And in the center of all these shopping and dining places is Calinda Beach.

From Mexico City, Calinda Beach is about four hours away by driving. Located near shopping centers, nightclubs or bars, it’s very accessible to wherever you wanna go to party…because that is, after all, why you came to Acapulco, right? In this city, the nightlife is definitely alive.

Calinda Beach is just a few feet away from Acapulco’s famous waters, but the hotel itself has fresh pools as well. In fact, there are two. So if the beach gets crowded, you may wanna dip here instead.

The rooms are clean, big enough and comfortable. It comes with all the right amenities, but you especially would find the bed sufficient and the room is a great place to be, if you’re looking to get away from the noise and the party for a few minutes.

The hotel’s staff service is friendly and accommodating. Most of them speak English, however, you have to understand that they can take forever to do things. In Acapulco, people don’t like to rush.

The hotel serves buffet at its in house restaurants, which also has a wonderful view of the beach. If you don’t like eatig at the hotel, however, it’s no problem as you can take a walk outside and pick from many of the other establishments there.

All in all, this is a good place to stay when you want to enjoy and party in Acapulco. It should not disappoint.

You have enter at the Calle Independencia to get to the site. It’s actually about 25 minutes more if you’re coming from the center of the city.

Palma Sola is located at the top of the hills and has several petrogylphs carved on the walls and rocks. Archeologists believe these markings are from the 200 BC. What’s also spectacular to see here is the awesome view of Acapulco’s beaches.

The site is very steep, so be sure to wear good hiking boots if you plan on going here. It’s also very hot and humid in the middle of the day. You’ve got to wear comfortable clothes and bring plenty of water if you want to visit Palma Sola. There is a cave you can take refuge in but it’s mostly an outdoor site with little covering.

It’s really better to visit Palma Sola with a group of people then go at it alone, of course. But there have been solo travellers who have attempted to do this on their own.

You can get here by bus or taxi, or bring your own ride, as there is ample parking space by the entrance. You can also hire a guide to help you out. There is a minimal fee of about $5 to $10.

The site is open from eight in the morning to four in the afternoon. A climb to the hills will take about two to four hours.

The name Las Torres Gemelas actually means “Twin Towers”, which is an obvious structure of the hotel. There’s actually two towers on each side of the property.

This is an upper class 3-star hotel, it’s not cheap, but then it’s also not very expensive. However, the place can be worth the money you spend on it. It’s clean and comes with all the facilities guests need to make the most of their vacation.

The rooms are really spacious, thus, as mentioned earlier, small groups going on vacation can hole up in one room, without feeling too cramped. It comes with a working kitchen, so you can bring in food and cook, if eating out can put a dent on your budget. But if not, the hotel is situated next to several bars and restaurants, it’s pretty convenient and you won’t run out of choices for dining or unwinding at night. There’s also an in-house restaurant, where the food served is 100% natural.

Las Torress has its own private beach, so you don’t have to go anywhere else to enjoy Acapulco’s water. And if you don’t like to be in salty water, there’s also a large pool at the hotel’s premises. In fact, there’s three, which means there’s plenty of room for every guests who wants to bask in the sun and soak in the water.

The hotel offers activities for children, so that if parents or adults prefer to go shopping in the city, they can entrust their kids and count on them having a good time, in the safety of the hotel staff.

Security is solid, and everyone in the staff is attentive and friendly.

Tourists go here for entertainment. They can watch as divers perform their stunts from the ravine. It’s like watching a fantastic circus act and if you come here in the evening, the performances are even more elaborate, as the divers jump with torches on hand.

The shows are short, about 20-25 minutes at a time, but they are well-worth the trip as you won’t see anything like it elsewhere. The shows take place in the morning and afternoon and sometimes in the evening (for special events).

These divers will ask for solicitation or tips after they perform, so don’t be surprised if they hand out buckets. They will also willingly stand with you for a photograph.

While enjoying the view, you and your loved-ones can dine at the outdoor restaurant called La Perla. Or, if you are on a budget, you can simply sit at the bleachers, downing beer and treats you can buy from vendors outside.

Around the area are several souvenir shops where you can purchase memorabilias like t-shirts and trinkets, which would be perfect to give friends and family back home.

Be sure to come in early if you want the best seats as the divers perform. Even without the diving shows, it’s still lovely to visit this place just to enjoy the beauty of the landscape and nature. You can actually see dolphins and whales in the water, happily swimming and jumping. It’s a great treat for the kids to see and will make your trip a truly memorable one.

It’s a colonial city that has been built on top of a mountain and it is famous for producing silver. Tourists here come to Taxco for two things: to buy cheap silver for souvenirs or personal use and to see and experience this quaint city.

Most buildings and structures in Taxcco carry very impressive architecture and many of the houses are built in white stucco walls and red roofing. The streets of Taxco are specked with cobblestone and most buildings have wrought iron terraces spilling with colorful flowers. It is such a sight to behold.

There are tours arranged daily and you can get around Taxco in one day. The tour arrangements always usually involve the following:

A tour of the town proper, showcasing unique and beautiful structures which includes traditional houses.
A tour of Santa Prisca cathedral.
A visits to the local shops, where you can also do your shopping.
A lunch at a traditional, authentic Mexican establishment.

The tour arrangement includes a hotel pick up and drop off point and depending on which tour you take, the price range is usually between $300-400 for a group. Make your reservations early so that you have confirmed slots for the tour.

The island is a haven for sun seekers and Boca Chica Hotel is one such hotel that visitors can stay and have their holdiay on a budget.

This hotel is located by the beach in Acapulco’s Old Town. It’s very near Playa Hornos, Playa Condesa, Magico Mundo Marino and several other area attractions. The facade of the hotel is quite stylish, as it evokes vintage exterior. It’s as if you’re stepping into another decade. Inside, however, the place has been refurburshed and doesn’t look anything like the 1950′s. It’s more sophisticated, chic and contemporary.

There are about 30 rooms to this hotel, with each room having its own balcony where there is a hammock as well as an outdoor living room. The place is refreshingly cool, not to mention that there’s a beautiful garden outside that offers the beauty of the tropics.

Every guest in this hotel will receive Dr. Bronner bath products and will have access to 24 hour room service as well as wireless internet connection. The hotel has its own spa and a full featured gym, where they can indulge in wellness and fitness. There’s also a massage cabana for the guests’ therapeutic pleasure.

Outside, the hotel has its pool by the terrace where guests can lounge or soak in the sun. At night, have fun at the bar and disco, dance all night or listen to music as you wine and dine. The hotel also has its own boutique and restaurant where the specialty is Japanese sushi take-outs you can have the pleasure of pigging out in your hotel room.

The place offers a haven of comfort with its tasteful and pleasant decoration and its inviting atmosphere.

Upon entering the lobby, one would see the bar and restaurant where food is palatable and unwinding on a hectic night of touring around the city can be really relaxing. The restaurant also serves buffet breakfast for its guests.

The place is perfect for meetings and group gatherings as the hotel has spacious function rooms and all the facilities you need for this, including a fast internet connection.

It has a spa and fitness center, in case you need to get a little pampering and truly enjoy a vacation where you have nothing to do but relax. The spa includes a jacuzzi tub, which seems to delight not just the couples but everyone in the family. There is also a children’s playground, just in case your kids get bored from the trip and want to go back to their routine.

The hotel has its own garden grounds, which provides aesthetics as well as a relaxing retreat. The rooms are specially clean and spacious, and what I love about it is that it comes with its own safety deposit cabinet, which I actually did not expect from a budget hotel.

This site is a couple of minutes walk from places like the Kite Park and Condesa Beach. It’s so conveniently located at center of Acapulco’s bustling district.

The site is surrounded by lots of palm trees, which makes the place really cool, breezy and inviting.

The hotel operates under the Fairmont Hotels and Resorts and has been built early in the 70′s to look like an Aztec pyramid by William Rudolph and Leonides Guadarrama. Looking at this hotel, it’s almost an iconic structure in Acapulco and anyone who has ever been here knows what this is.

The hotel these days is an upscale place where facilities offered are truly first class with excellent service — golf courses, pools, spa resort, tennis court and a health club. You can also make arrangements for various watersport activities, like parasailing or scuba diving, to complete your whole island experience.

Further, there are about nine restaurants inside this hotel, which means, you will never be at a loss for what food to sample. There really is plenty to do, eat and see, even when you’re exploring just within this place.

The rooms at this hotel are all air conditioned with cable TV installed and the guests’ very own dressing area, safe and ironing board. There are about 1, 017 rooms in total…so yes, the place is big and surrounded by luscious green and beautiful sights. Like I said, I don’t think you’d have the need to go out of Mexico to explore more, when everything you would want from a relaxing vacation and leisure is already here.

What’s even great is that the rooms come with a spectacular view of the Pacific Ocean. The hotel is perfect for families visiting Acapulco or even lovers sharing a sweet time together.
