Peace and quiet! Lol! Do you go around with earplugs? Or perhaps you live in a relatively secluded gated community. Mexico is a lot of things, but quiet and peaceful it is not: cars without mufflers or with bad ones; roosters, dogs, firecrackers, churchbells, fiestas, more fiestas, parked cars with the music turned-up, neighbors with the music turned-up, passing cars with the music turned-up, no zoning means anything can be next door: carpentry, ironworking, mechanics–all with the music turned-up. Am I missing anything?
