Touring isn’t just about the views and visiting landmarks and historical places. It’s also about doing activities that is best done here than anywhere else. A couple of things that I suggest you do are below.
Water Taxi Rides in Cabo
These water taxi rides can be so much fun and can take you from the marina down to Medana beach and even to a place called Lover’s Beach, which is on the very tip of the Cabo Peninsula. These water taxi boats have glass bottoms that help passengers see the fish that are swimming underfoot, a wonderful sight for children and adults to see.
Jungle Excursions in Puerto Vallarta
You should try and visit Yelapa, which can be reached by foot, by boat, or by mountain biking. This beach village is home to a jungle, a waterfall, and rivers that give you the jungle lifestyle that is uniquely Puerto Vallarta. Also, part of the Puerto Vallarta jungle experience is the canopy tour that gets you to see the flora and the fauna of the region in what may be your most exciting jungle adventure yet. You will be zipped above the treetops to see these wonders and more.
If you don’t enjoy this, I don’t know what else would please you. These things can be done here and here alone.
In the West coast of mexico, many lakes can be found where one can indulge in bass fishing and swim in the lake.

There is Lake Agua Milpa, Lake Huites and Lake Baccarac. The experience of fishing on the each lake may differ since there is quite the age difference between each lake. The older lakes produce bigger bass, but not as plenty as those from newer lakes.

San Blas, a small fishing town in the state of Nayarit is a treasure to behold. It is nestled in a swamp with jungles and mangroves that offers a natural habitat for snakes, crocodiles and birds. People come from all over North America to visit the Estuary, where migratory birds come all year round, and watch all kinds and species of birds. Several species are endemic to the area, meaning they can only be found in San Blas and so it’s no wonder tourists flock to the area to see this. It is also in this area where huge crocodiles, jaguars and boa constrictors said to abound.
Apart from these, San Blas also offers beautiful virgin beaches lined with palm trees. Going to San Blas would feel like hitting too many birds in one stone, pun intended.

Considered as Michoacan’s best-kept secret, Lago (lake) Zirahuen is located in the town of Patzcuaro. With a population of about 2,500 local people, the village is another picturesque yet hidden gem of mexico. The discovery of this magnificent lake vista has seen many expats re-locating to the village, preferably building a house with the view of the lake. There are also accomodations available around the town and an exquisite hotel called Zirahuen Forest resort which is perched atop a hill overlooking the lake. Can you imagine the view?
While at Zirahuen, you have the option to enjoy the following activities: hiking, boating (the non-motorized variety), sport fishing, bicycling, and horseback riding.
