It is surrounded by the Pacific Ocean along with a lake on its other side.

This serene location is way more peaceful than the busy center of Acapulco. It is more advisable though to swim in the lake part for the sea part is very risky. It has killed a lot of surfers in the past but you can still enjoy having some water activities in its lagoon.

The place also consists of a lot of seafood restaurants by the beach and the sunset here is amazing. There are many accommodations made available too in this area. So if you want to unravel the more peaceful side of Acapulco, set some time off in Pie de la Cuesta.

Dos Ojos means the one of the biggest underwater caves to be found in the world. It is a very lengthy cave system which measures about 57 km. In Spanish, the term Dos Ojos means two eyes. This is referred to one of the leading entrances that connect the two big caverns.

The water source in the cave is from rain filtered with the help of the limestones, responsible for the very clear water it renders to scuba divers or those who just intend to snorkel. The water temperature measures normally to 77 degrees all throughout the entire year.

There is also a bat cave within the connecting caverns which can be accessed through diving or snorkeling alone. With the help of some diving light, you would be able to see some bats sleeping on the roofs of the cavern.

The usual dives which take place in Dos Ojos are just a bit less than 30 feet to give way for longer time underwater. It is recommended that you do the dive with a trainer for cave diving can be really dangerous to anyone who will do it for the first time. Try one of these best cave dives you can only experience in mexico.

Touring isn’t just about the views and visiting landmarks and historical places. It’s also about doing activities that is best done here than anywhere else. A couple of things that I suggest you do are below.

Water Taxi Rides in Cabo
These water taxi rides can be so much fun and can take you from the marina down to Medana beach and even to a place called Lover’s Beach, which is on the very tip of the Cabo Peninsula. These water taxi boats have glass bottoms that help passengers see the fish that are swimming underfoot, a wonderful sight for children and adults to see.

Jungle Excursions in Puerto Vallarta
You should try and visit Yelapa, which can be reached by foot, by boat, or by mountain biking. This beach village is home to a jungle, a waterfall, and rivers that give you the jungle lifestyle that is uniquely Puerto Vallarta. Also, part of the Puerto Vallarta jungle experience is the canopy tour that gets you to see the flora and the fauna of the region in what may be your most exciting jungle adventure yet. You will be zipped above the treetops to see these wonders and more.

If you don’t enjoy this, I don’t know what else would please you. These things can be done here and here alone.

Racing through the Cancun Lagoon
Cancún is a coastal city in mexico’s easternmost state, Quintana Roo, on the Yucatán Peninsula. Cancún is located on the Yucatan Channel that separates Mexico from the island of Cuba in the Greater Antilles. The island of Isla Mujeres is located off the coast and is accessible by boat from Puerto Juárez. The Cancún region is sometimes known as the mexican Caribbean. The city center is located on the mainland which connects the Nichupté and lagoons to a narrow 7-shaped island where the modern beachfront hotels are located.
If you are into racing around the beautiful lagoon of Cancun and snorkelling in one of their lovely reefs, the Jungle Tour race of Cancun might just be the adventure for you. You start off with a two-seater speedboat race that gets you to navigate around a maze-like pattern through the lagoon, and you end the race up with a snorkelling adventure in this unique competition that has you exploring the natural wonders of Cancun.

Any medications being carried overseas or in Mexico City should be left in their original containers and be clearly labeled.

If you are wearing eyeglasses, make sure to take an extra pair with you, unless you want to buy an extra in Mexico. Pack medicines in your hand luggage so they will be available in case your checked luggage is lost. Pack a backup supply of medicines and an additional pair of eyeglasses in your checked luggage.

If you have an allergies, or adverse reaction to certain medications, insect bites, or foods, consider wearing a medical alert bracelet. You may wish to carry a letter from your physician explaining the required treatment in case you become ill.

Although you can buy most medicines over the country in Mexico, however, buy only the medicines that you know are safe for your health. If you need some painkiller for a headache or remedy for your antiacids, just make sure you buy the medicine that you have taken before in your own self prescription perspective. However, if you need some medicine that is more than the usual ailments, it is always best to see a local doctor to get a prescription.

If you will travel to mexico, you might be wondering if they have taxi cabs in the city, my answer is yes. Mexico has taxi cab and they are cheaper as in comparison to our taxi cabs in the US or to any parts of the globe. Taxi cabs are either metered or charged by zones. Your price will vary if you will be hiring a taxi cab by zone.

Although it is still best if you will just rent a van or hire your hotel car service to tour you around the city. However, if it is not your first time to go to Mexico, and you already know the town connecting to the city from where your hotel is, you can always hire a taxi cab either by metered or pay it by zone.

If you will go to Mexico’s colonial city of Puebla, you will be seeing pink taxi cabs. These cabs are part of the government’s help to female passengers tired of leering male drivers. The pink taxi cabs are driven by female drivers and will not stop for male passengers.

If you are traveling with Children or you are pregnant, it will be better not to go to the remote or jungle areas of Mexico just to be safe.

It is important that you see your doctor before you travel and discuss your plans of going to the remote areas or tropical jungle of Mexico. This way, he will be able to prescribe or recommend an appropriate immunization for you.

San Blas, a small fishing town in the state of Nayarit is a treasure to behold. It is nestled in a swamp with jungles and mangroves that offers a natural habitat for snakes, crocodiles and birds. People come from all over North America to visit the Estuary, where migratory birds come all year round, and watch all kinds and species of birds. Several species are endemic to the area, meaning they can only be found in San Blas and so it’s no wonder tourists flock to the area to see this. It is also in this area where huge crocodiles, jaguars and boa constrictors said to abound.

Apart from these, San Blas also offers beautiful virgin beaches lined with palm trees. Going to San Blas would feel like hitting too many birds in one stone, pun intended.
