Tacos: Crispy and juicy

The traditional Mexican tacos is basically a tortilla wrapped around a filling which can be anything from fish to vegetables to cheese. It’s usually garnished with garlic, onions, tomatoes, salsa or lettuce.

Tacos has great variety and is nowadays can be found in the United States and Canada and a number of other nations, reflecting the globalization of cuisines. Tacos dorados: the tortillas are pre-cooked with shredded chicken or beef, rolled into cylinders and deep-friend until crisp.

Tacos de pescado: From Baja California in Mexico, they are made with fried fish, lettuce or cabbage, pico de gallo and mayonnaise or sour cream. Tacos de pescado can also be found in California, Colorado and Washington

Tacos de Cazo: Made with tripa (tripe from a pig), suadero (tender beef cuts), carnitas and buche, the tacos is deep-fried in a metal bowl filled with lard.
