QUERETARO-MEXICO March 14
This colonial city in the center of the country is located 220 Km to the north of Mexico City. There are 2 ways you can get to this city. One thing you could do is taking a direct flight to the city, or you may fly to Mexico city first then take a bus or drive. I would recommend to go for the second option because it is cheaper.
This city, which is the third most visited colonial city in the country, has different things to offer, but it is especially fun for those who like visiting this type of cities. The historic downtown, for example, offers the visitor over 460 years of history and tradition with its marvelous, cathedrals, mansions, palaces, and aqueduct.
The easiest way to see all of this beauty is by taking a tour in two story trolley, which will take you to the main sites, monuments, and most important issues of the city. Visiting the museums is also another important thing you shouldn’t miss. There are about seven of them, all of which are really nice and informative.
Queretaro also offers attractive options of music to dance or listen, different kinds of live shows, and a great variety of Mexican as well as international cuisine. There are also different coffee shops where you can have a refreshment and talk. I have been in this city three times and I have to say that what I like the most about it is the architecture, so if you get the chance to visit this beautiful city, don’t forget your camera.
