I agree with humberto, it zone can be see from MTY and specialy on the Obispado Hill.

Monterrey is on the foot of the Sierra Madre Oriental.

One year ago some bears came from dear, because they were looking for water

La Huasteca Natural Park is a 200 Hectares Park in the Sierra Madre Mountains. This pictures are from La Huasteca in Monterrey Metropolitan zone, at just 20 minutes from downtown.

On the other side you are rigth that there is one Huasteca in San Luis Potosi. This one correspond to all the mountain chain located in the state of San Luis Potosi(Very Beautiful too).

Take your time to visit monterrey sometime and enjoy all the natural beauty that this city also offer.

Monterrey is not a state it is a city. The state is Nuevo Leon, and Huasteca is a region of San Luis Potosi several hours away from Monterrey.

Such great pictures. I used them to teach a class at Yale. It was such an exquiste site to see. I tought the class about natural beauty..
