107 Km. to the southeast of Xalapa in the state of Veracruz, you will find the newly developed place of Boca del Rio. This place is characterized because of its beautiful beaches and because of its exquisite cuisine. This is a picturesque town of fishermen, famous because of its gastronomy based on seafood.
The town has modern hotels and shopping malls and it’s visited by many people from the city of Veracruz since it is only 10 kilometers away. There are different attractions in the place such as strolling musicians during the week or weekends, as well as dance groups. It’s a great place to have lunch when you want to get out of the city. During the day, you can watch people working on their little fishing boats just preparing to go out to sea at night.
Visiting this town is a really great experience because of its architecture, and because of its being close to the port of Veracruz. There are other different activities available at this town. Among others are fishing, swimming, and other water sports. If you ever get the chance to come to this beach town, you will have a really good time in company of your family or friends

veracruz (boca del rio) is so pretty, the people are so happy and smiling, the food there is so soft and diffrent from the united states. the people’s body type are in an active state, unlike the overweight problems the states have. if you get 3 beer bottle caps u can turn them into any gas station to get ur free beer! i just drove 1200 miles one way to veracruz, and the drive alone was unbeliveable. i really love the true mexican culture i got when i was there with my wife and daughter. i want to buy a house there sometime in the near future. like anywhere else where theres a big population there is trafic, but its well worth it. i am in love with veracruz!!!
