Situated six miles in the northwest of Acapulco’s middle part is a strip of land called Pie de la Cuesta. It is surrounded by the Pacific Ocean along with a lake on its other side.

This serene location is way more peaceful than the busy center of Acapulco. It is more advisable though to swim in the lake part for the sea part is very risky. It has killed a lot of surfers in the past but you can still enjoy having some water activities in its lagoon.

The place also consists of a lot of seafood restaurants by the beach and the sunset here is amazing. There are many accommodations made available too in this area. So if you want to unravel the more peaceful side of Acapulco, set some time off in Pie de la Cuesta.
