If you will have a vacation in Mexico, here are some helpful tips that I can share:

I recommend not to book until the list minute because booking late does not mean there will be a further discount.

There is no stand by out of Cozumel, Cancun, or Merida unless you are working for an airline.

Connecting to Mexico City to get to Cancun, Cozumel or Merida is not a problem. However, you just have to add an extra hour for travel time, and it also depends on how close the connecting flights are.

The airport of Mexico City is very easy to navigate and there are help desks and airport personnel ready to assist you in connecting your flights.

Your luggage is automatically moved for one airplace to the connecting air place. You do not have to collect it then recheck it on your connecting flight.

It is always a good idea to put your suntan lotion on before you leave especially in the winter months. So when you arrive in Mexico are already prepared, and you do not have to dig out your lotion.

Just wear a zip off pants and t-shirt inside your winter coat, so when you arrive in Mexico, you are ready and prepared to welcome the heat!
