Cabo San Lucas - Playa del Amante March 23
Cabo San Lucas isn’t just a spring break destination, it’s also a great place for a family vacation or for a romantic getaway.
Head to the beautiful beaches of Cabo where you can snorkel, parasail, fish or just lay on the beach all day drinking cocktails. One of my favorite places to go in Cabo is the hidden cover of Playa del Amante (Lover’s Beach).
You can hire a water taxi at the marina and have them take you out to Playa del Amante. Here is where the Sea of Cortez meets the Pacific Ocean. You can be dropped off on Lover’s Beach and explore the beauty of this area, then have the water taxi pick you back up later in the day.
Don’t try to swim on the Pacific side at Playa del Amante - the currents are strong. Keep your water activities on the Sea of Cortez side.
If you don’t want to spend the day lounging at the beach, there’s a lot of other stuff happening in Cabo San Lucas. While in Cabo, you can also go whale watching, spend a day golfing, or eat at one of the main fine restaurants. Cabo San Lucas isn’t just about partying. It’s actually one of the top vacation areas in all of Mexico.
